I hope he did but I don't know how good your chances are!  Does he make dinner regularly?  My DH wouldn't think about it.  If I told him ahead of time that he was in charge of dinner, he would do it but he wouldn't think of it on his own.  :-)

He travels a lot (3-4 nights a week) but when he's home, he does enjoy cooking.  He doesn't necessarily take the initiative to do it on his own though.
