I have posted here and there, but I know that an introduction is in order.
My name is Samantha and I am 21 years old, my husband turns 23 in 10 days. We have been married for a year and half, and have been TTC since our wedding night. Finally, yesterday I got my BFP! I just woke up and took a test, like always on the expected day of my period, and almost fell off the toilet when I saw the positive. Two boxes of tests later, and they all say the same.
We never had any fertility treatment...we were trying to trust in the fact that we are young to see us through, though the road involved tears and stress and heartache, as many of you lovely ladies know.
Our first appt is on the 24th, by DHs birthday. I am a little upset that our insurance has changed our coverage, and the only nurse midwife that is covered is an hour and half away, but I found an office here that has nurse midwifes on staff, and the OB's there are covered. So hopefully they will be more open to natural birth.
I hope to walk through this amazing journey with all you lovely ladies!
