My issue with telling co-workers is that the nature of my job (public accounting) is that I work for a client at their location with one group of people for a few weeks, then work with another client at their place of business with a new group of people for a few weeks, etc. Eventually I cross paths again with the client or the people I worked with in the past, and I feel very awkward about just bringing it up, over and over, each new time. But, one time I ran into someone who I had seen a month ago and had told I was pregnant, and now the loss had occured, and she started asking me how I was feeling and such, and I had to tell her, and then she felt really bad for bringing it up. I tried to make her feel better by telling her it was ok, she couldn't have known, but it was just very awkward. However, I just don't know how to avoid this. Am I supposed to call or email people who knew I was pregnant and say "oh by the way, we lost the baby, just so you know for when we see each other at X client in a month." Is anyone else having to deal with this type of unique situation??
