I posted about the saleslady that thought my pants were about to fly off my body earlier this week.
Today H's GM comes in and says, "You've been eating an awful lot lately. Just be careful, you don't want to get huge. ::nods toward my belly::"
I only eat lunch here! I don't even snack at my desk but apparently in the last week I've started feeding at a trough.
I told H when he called and he says, "Don't let it bother you. We're still in the overjoyed about our baby stage, remember?"
Oh right! Back to being overjoyed. Bahaha. He's silly.
Re: I must be dellusional about my weight.
Even though I would be annoyed like you that is a cute response from your DH. I've heard much worse from clueless men!!
and seriously MYOB GM! What a jerk!
lol. I get that a lot, especially this time around. It's not really your weight. Your boobs are probably getting bigger, which makes your shirts fit differently. And you are bloated, which can give you a muffin top. So you don't have to gain a pound to look bigger.
This pregnancy, I have lost 3 pounds but I look significantly larger.
ETA: And, when you are pregnant, you can't eat in front of people without incurring some type of comment on gaining weight.

Oh wait? What is GM? Damn the lingo! Grandmother? I was thinking General Manager (used to work in restaurants). Maybe the jalapeno idea not so charming for the elderly...sorry about that. Man I sound like an ass!
Bahaha yes it's his grandmother. You don't sound like an ass. ; )
His whole family was overweight and over the last few years have worked together and they've all lost alot. Unfortunately that weightloss has turned them all into dieticians
so I get alot of unsolicited diet advice.
LOL too funny!
You really shouldn't feel like an ass, because I totally thought she meant general manager. I was like, What a freaking jerk! And how unprofessional! hahahaha!
Grandmother. Got it!
I thought you meant his boss too
Still rude though.
We're soooo on the same page...(work in the hospitality industry, too...lol)
