Since Cornell gave me a completely different opinion about my case than my current RE, I am looking for a tie breaker.
I need another fresh pair of eyes to look at my record.
CWRC takes my insurance so I was wondering if anyone knew of any doctors there.
Thanks
Re: Anyone go to CWRC?
Is this the clinic in columbia pres?
If it is that's where Dr. T used to work.
GL, I think getting other opinions is always a good thing.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Yes that is Columbia
I didnt realized he used to work there. Interesting. Do you know why he left?
I adore Dr. Nakhuda. He is very calm and laid back, but he is pretty aggressive in our treatment. I appreciate that he will discuss pretty much anything, and in a clear unhurried way.
Dr. Guarnaccia is the PGD guy if that is something you want to focus on. He also has a very nice manner.
Because it's a group practice, you'll see any of the Drs. during monitoring. PM me if you want my impression on any of them or any more information. I really appreciate how the center as a whole promotes patient education. They really want you to know what's going on, what they're doing, and why. They want your choices to be informed.
It's also advisable to go to the intro workshop (first Wednesday of the month) and get a packet either by dropping by or calling.
Regarding IVF, even though they have 2 basic approaches that they discuss in the literature (antagonist and agonist) the protocols are really tailored to your situation. They don't do co-culture, if that's a concern.
Where are you currently going and what are the differing opinions so far, if I may ask?
Thanks for the info! I am currently at SIRM, had 2 failed cycles are they are treating me very aggressively. I have PCO but a high FSH so they are treating me like a DOR pt. Cornell feels the FSH is irrelevent and I should be treated as a PCO patient with low stims.
So I am looking for a third opinion.
I see Dr. Sauer who is the head of CWRC. I really like him -- he's taken an aggressive approach to my treatment but also has listened to my questions and taken into account my prior experience (I had 3 failed IVF cycles at another clinic so I consider that a VERY important input to my treatment at CWRC).
I've found the REs are generally nice -- since it's a group practice, they're super busy so I always feel they're rushed when they're seeing me but, in general, they're knowledgeable. Others I've been impressed by - Dr. Choi, Dr. Nakuhada (sp?) and Dr. Guarnacci (sp).
I'm a little jaded....my prior clinic was amazing in terms of the doctors / medical treatment care (the reason I'm not there any more is they're private, don't accept insurance so they're quite expensive and the whole thing was OOP for us...given that things weren't looking good for me, I decided to try a new clinic for a change / lower cost).
Edited to add: I also have high FSH (and high E2).
Oh, that's really interesting. If you get a third opinion, I'm interested in knowing what that is. I suspect that the drs at any of these clinics have differing approaches, even though they all work together and confer on patients.
FWIW they are big into AMH/MIS values if you haven't had it done already.
Good luck!
