13 week Perinatologist visit

I am starting to get excited!! Had the ultrasound today and the baby was really moving around!! It was sooooooooooo cool!! I  asked the Dr. if she could tell and she could! IT'S A BOY!! I am really excited!! Hope everybody's day was as good as mine :-)

so exciting! Just don't go out buying all blue stuff yet as this early on they can't be that sure.

Not to rain on your parade, but isn't 13 weeks a little *too* early to know the sex? My doc said the little girls' clitoris' swell and often look like penises this early in the game... Just wondering.

But congrats on your good appointment! : )

awwwwwww!! well I am gonna keep my fingers and toes CROSSED!! If it is, it's a big one!! How much longer do I have to wait to see or could they have my due date wrong??

Just be careful how many people you tell about the sex.  At 16 weeks, they told me I was having a boy. I sent out a mass email to anyone that was interested in me having a boy.  Bad decision.  At my 20 week appointment, they told me opps you are having a girl.  The second email was not as fun. 

Looking back at it, it is not a big deal.  I have a daughter that I adore and a fun story for her later.  GL mama.

I'm not having my anatomy scan until 19 weeks. She said by then that it should all be clear cut! : ) Yeah, I would hold off on the announcing!

Not a problem.  The news is too fun to keep completely quite.  Just don't be like me an send an email blast.  Keeping my fingers crossed for your baby boy!!!!  Exciting news.

Ditto on don't buy anything. When we went for NT scan we thought DD was a DS! The joke was DD had a huge Clitoris!

Sweety i hope for your sake they are right but this happened to my best friend only a few months back 1st peri appt 13 weeks they said boy she went crazy all boy stuff and guess what week 19 its a girl she was devastated.  I sent her this i recommend taking a look.  Its still really early for you.

If the Dr says it's a boy, I would say odds are 75%-which are good. But I agree to wait for teh big announcement on the 18 wk scan. I'm hoping the Dr can tell me at my NT scan too. Any "hint" would be terrific.
