1st Trimester

Please remind me:

How common spotting is during the First Trimester... I just went to the restroom and had a red smear on the TP. It wasn't much but I did have a twinge of a cramp this morning while eating breakfast so the two may be related.

I never spotted with DD even after the vaginal ultrasound I never spotted. This is all new to me.

Please remind me that it's normal right?..

Re: Please remind me:

  • Spotting can be nothing serious but also can indicate a problem.  You should always call your OB when spotting.  If it stops today, its probably not serious.  Good luck.  Hope everything is ok.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

Especially is you are Rh- and the father of your LO is not!  They may have you come in for an injection of Rhogam (sp?)

I don't believe I am Rh- I had to get that tested at the end of my pregnancy with DD. But I will keep that in mind to ask today. I don't remember ever finding out the results of that test actually.
