6 mo ht, wt, head inconsistencies

As of DS's 6 mo visit today, his height is 79th%, weight is 92nd% and head circumfrance is 25th% (at 4 mo it was 81%, 95% and 25%).  His head looks proportionate to me and the pediatrician...she isn't worried.  It seems so odd to have such inconsistencies with the head percentile not even being close.  Anyone's DC like this?  Thx.

He's staying consistant with his previous measurements, so I wouldn't worry.  The precentiles don't need to be the same as each other.  For instance, my daughter's weight is something like the 28th %, height is 22% and head is 72%.  He's fine as long as the pedi isn't worried.

G's head is in the 10th percentile and the rest of him is in the 60th.

My DS was 50th for height and weight and 90th for head at his 6 month.  The pedi said it was fine and his head doesn't seem large for his body.

I've been told as long as each measurement is progressing along a consistent growth arc that it's fine. DS' always been high numbers on weight and height (95%, 75%) but his head was around 25% at two months. at 4 & 6 months it was 50% but at no time have the doctors been concerned.

I think they only worry if there is a huge gain or loss in any percentile.

DD's head has always been in the 95th percentile, and her pedi said that since it has always been on the larger side, it was growing just fine for her.

My DS is 10% weight, 25% height, and 75% head!  His head certainly does not look like it is that much our of proportion.  I think that the differences between the percentiles is so small at these early ages that it is just all pretty "normal."

DS is in the 75% for height, 10-15% for both weight and head.

Ha ha Mine was (@ 6 mns) 95% for head circumference, 40% for weight, and 50% for height.
