Any other 7 month olds not able to sit up without support yet?

Mine can't sit up alone yet...She will, but it's only a matter of moments before she'll reach for something and tumble over.

DS isn't sitting up yet without support even for a second.

DD will be 7 months next week and she is no where near sitting up yet. She was also a preemie so I just figured it was because of that. I'm not to worried about it. She is lacking in the sitting up department, but rolling all over the place, and even trying to crawl.

I've learned that babies will eventually do things, when they are ready.

At 7 months DD could only sit for a few seconds. Right before 7.5 months, she was suddenly able to sit pretty well. It was almost overnight! Just keep practicing and it will happen. She still falls sometimes.

He can sit up - he just prefers to roll onto his tummy so he can get places.  So he does not sit up for long on his own.
