Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Anything your body can't "handle" since pregnancy?

I used to be able to eat jalepenos like it was going out of style.

I LOVE spicy food.

My system just wouldn't stand for it while I was pregnant (think up all night on the toilet.)

I was hoping after pregnancy I would be able to eat it again and I can't. I tried some yesterday and totally paid for it (I'll spare you the details.)

I am so bummed :(

  • I love spicy food, but since I'm still BFing I can't do it. I made the mistake of getting a "medium" Thai curry when he was about 3 months and he cried the entire next day.

And we'll see about Indian. I ate it once while I was PG and it turned my insides inside out. Haven't tried it again.

Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

  • sushi. i used to have it 3 to 4 times a week before my pregnancy. now i kinda gag and feel sick after eating it.
  • Caffeine! I've never really been a regular coffee drinker. I only have it once or twice a week. I did used to drink lots of Diet Coke though. Now if I have anything with caffeine after 1 PM I am up for most of the night.

I am still a total lightweight when it comes to alcohol as well.

  • i dont have an issue with food..but since pregnancy ive had the most jacked up skin... dry, hives, zits, more easily cut and bruised.  i hope it goes back to somewhat normal soon. ive always had sensitive skin but this is ridiculous

    a full bladder

this.  i've never had a urinary tract infection in my entire life, and i just got off the antibiotics for one last week.

  • When I was pregnant, spaghetti sauce made me nauseus.  It still does!  (But I love it so I eat it anyway and suffer later).

This. I used to love sushi, specifically sashimi. Now I can't eat raw fish, I find it tastes and feels disgusting. But I do still love the other japanese food options that don't require raw fish!
