1st Trimester
I know they are "normal" but is anyone else really freaked by the cramps?
I feel the need to run to the bathroom to make sure there is no AF because they feel so much like menstral cramps. I held the door open for someone this morning and stretched my stomach in a weird way and the cramps started....Im so afraid that i"m going to do something to hurt my pregnancy!
I know its crazy...my mom even said it was totally normal....and she freaks out about everything.

This being my 3rd they don't freak me out that much but my cramps are also light IMO.
Where in MI are you? Downstate?

Yes! I've gotten light cramps (which is normal for me) on and off which feel just like mentruation cramps. This is my first pregnancy so it is scary but I try to remember that they say this is totally normal.
Aside from that, I've have a bad cold for the last few days. I've had a terrible cough and also have been sneezing alot and, although I know that this wont hurt the baby, I just have this irrational fear that I'm hurting the baby. Ughh!! I can't wait for my u/s tomorrow morning!

dolphinsmakemesmile....we started TTC the same month...all those years ago! We were diagnosed with IF as well...its been a long road for us and by the looks of it you too. Glad we are both on this side of things!

Yay for both us!!!! Congrats too!!!! That's funny how we started TTC the same time and we are due not too far apart either
. When is your first u/s? Mine is next Monday 5/17. I am petrified, excited, and a million other things. I can't wait to see the baby(ies) h/b and know all is ok so far. I am so scared on the other hand too-aagghhh...it feels like forever away.

Hey Olivia, I also live outside of Detroit.
As far as the cramps go, I have had them since before I got my BFP and I also keep running to the bathroom to check for blood. My cramps aren't terrible. They're more like a dull ache, but the same thing I get right before I start AF. I am having a hard time being excited becuase I'm so paranoid and this is my second pregnancy.
When I was cramping early on, like 4-5 weeks, I associated the mild cramping to "implantation". But just yesterday I started having mild cramping and then this morning I had some brown spotting. I'm just little freaked out since I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Also, my lower back is a little sore, but I thought that was from sitting too long. I started exercising again late last week, so now I think that may be the cause since that's the only new thing going on. I'm currently waiting for a call back from my doctor. All my blood tests and my first ultrasound have all been good. I'm hoping for the best and that this is normal and that the only thing is I'll have to stop exercising for a little while.
