For DS. Yep. David.
Our family name is popular as well.
I didn't want him "googlable" and whatever other search stuff exists when he is older.
Blessing Princess Robertson will be easy to google and easy to find.
My computer science background desires anonymity.

Re: I deliberately picked a popular name.
Finn was after my Dad who passed away. We don't really use it. It is up to him whether he wants to or not.
It's funny when you put it that way (about the googlability), but I guess kind of. It is a family name, but we settled on a common family name.
Oh, I'm not knocking the name (in fact, I like it a lot), but I just thought it was odd that that was your reasoning when David is pretty generic, but when you add Finn to that when you google, I'm sure there aren't a lot.
Didn't mean to jump on you. Most people I know don't really use their middle name (and i probably don't know the middle name of most of my friends).
I was just trying to explain how the middle name was a little unusual. I should probably pull it out of my siggy
