Beta Results! & Question

Hi girls,

 I just got back my second beta and I think the numbers are pretty good so I am feeling a little relieved (at least for now)

The nurse said the HCG was good and Progesterone was excellent

My first beta (last weds 3 weeks 4 days) was 250 and from fri it was 621 at 3 weeks 6 days..

I can't remember what my progesterone was from the first lab but it's now 31..

Is HCG supposed to double every 24 or 48 hours?  Of course dummy me forgot to ask the nurse on the phone..duh!  I swear pregnancy brain is already kicking in..

Every 48 to 72 hours is what they generally go by for doubling time.

It's supposed to double within 48 hours.
