The Baby and I Had Our first Argument....

My 1st Mother's day was going wonderful yesterday...... then I decided that I wanted to eat some chocolate ice cream. Ever since about my 5th week I have not been able to eat anything sweet without feeling sick. But that doesn't mean I don't want to eat sweets.

So I decided that yesterday was Mommy Day, not Baby Day and I was going to coldstone with DH and getting some ice cream. Bad idea!! I ended up having to take a 2 hour nap before I started to feel better again.

That would make the score baby 1 and mommy 0.

Ya know, that's just not right.  I think it's time for baby's first time out!

I had a similar fight when all the baby wanted was my grandma's meatballs and then threw them up a few hours later!  I was like, "come on kid!! I gave you what you wanted!!"

I'm sorry that happened. I feel you though. Was seriously craving some PB and chocolate ice cream so DF took me to Friendly's. We ordered the biggest chocolate cake covered in hot PB sauce and surrounded by three lovely scoops of Forbidden Chocolate ice cream. Well by the time we paid the bill and got to the parking lot, let's just say the poor SUV parked next to us had a new "paint job". I felt horrible and took the entire evening to sleep it off.

I threw up a freaking apple this morning.

An apple! WTF?!

Nausea that reminds me to eat every few hours is one thing. Actually throwing up, totally different. And an apple. It's fruit darnit.

The baby needs to expand his/her taste buds beyond root beer floats and nachos. (The only things I ever seem to crave.)

I feel ya. I told my baby it's already grounded for a month when he or she joins us because of all the puking I've done. :-)

My baby decided me brushing my teeth this morning was going to make me puke.  Normally I just gag through it but this morning was different.

I know how that is! As gross as it sounds, I have not been able to brush my teeth in two weeks, the thought of teeth brushing makes me dry-heave!! Ugh, thank goodness for gum!
