for naps the only way we were able to do this was to let her CIO. it was our last resort after trying numerous other things.
LO has been sleeping in her crib since 4 months when we did it cold turkey. she still wakes up a lot at night so we're trying CIO with that too..but its hard!! So we'll see how it goes

We did Ferber at 6 months. DD has been sleeping in her crib at night since the day that we brought her home from the hospital but at 6 months she was waking up habitually every night. For naps we go by cues, as soon as she starts acting tired or rubbing her eyes, she goes for a nap.

She sleeps in her swing and I know she shouldn't be there but she loves it. She is getting older and bigger and we are expecting again so I have to get her in her proper sleeping place and establish a routine before its too late LOL
