Music for LO's while driving

Do you put on music for your LO's while in the car?  I have a few CD's for them but I never think to play it for them.  Our ride to daycare is about 5 min.  But I take them out every weekend and should probably be playing nursery rhymes for them.  What do you do?

Re: Music for LO's while driving

  • We just listen to the radio usually... whatever we are listening to.

  • Sing along to any song I like that's on the radio. While exposing DS to "kid friendly" music is important I also like exposing him to all kinds of music.
  • Radio, Disney or Laurie Berkner Band.

We don't play anything in particular for DS unless he's crying, in which case we turn to the classical station and crank it up. Usually calms him.
  • I have some nursery rhymes CD's that DH and I both play in our cars. I have been playing them since DD was 2-3 months. She loves them. We also listen to whatever is on the radio, when I need a break from the CD's. Ha Ha!

Usually I listen to talk radio, but if the little guy is fussy I'll turn to a music station or I highly recommend They Might Be Giants.

This.  She sings along to almost any female singer: Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston.

  • We listen to my ipod.
