So blessed to have a baybee but DH is kind of a douche

He TOTALLY forgot Mother's Day. Not.one.word. all day. He worked all day, so I thought maybe he was waiting to get home. Nope. Nothing. Not even a "Happy Mother's Day."

Needless to say, I'm hurt. And very po'd. So hurt and mad I haven't even said anything.

  • Bad DH. =( *Hugs
  • Instead of being passive-aggressive about it, maybe you should have let him know ahead of time what your expectations were.

This.  I understand it sucks to not be recognized especially if this holiday means a lot to you.  Now that you got it out of your system go talk to him about it and tell him what you expect from him next year.

You should say something... Guys can be so clueless sometimes. Plus, wouldn't he want to wish his own mother happy Mother's Day? Just be honest with him - tell him you're hurt, and mad, and that you wish he would have remembered. Better to get it out in the open than hold it over his head in silence.

  • Happy Mother's Day!  ((your DH needs hit upside the head!))
  • I would definitely talk to him.  Don't bottle it up inside.

What is up with "baybee"?  I don't get it.

I'm not one that's into the Hallmark holidays. All DH needed to do for me today was say "Happy Mother's Day."  So this response gets a puh-lease from me. All she wanted was a "Happy Mother's Day." I'm sorry, but if those words are just too hard to spit out, DH gets a big fat fail.
