This is my third pregnancy, you'd think I'd be more relaxed about early symptoms, but I'm a worrier :-) I've been having a lot of lower back pain, from about 5-6 days before getting my BFP until a few days ago. I still get it, but not as bad.
I have a "dating" ultrasound on Tues so I guess I'll find out more about it then, but in the meantime I can't help but worry.
Has any of you experienced this? When I googled it, I only found it as a sign of miscarriage...even though in that case it is usually accompanied by bleeding...which I don't have.
Re: Can lower back pain be normal?
This is my third pg too, and lots of things are aching ,lol, I really woulden't worry about it unless its unreasonably painful. I know my knees are killing me out of the clear blue which has never happened before. Just relax and try not to strain it further.
I had it last weekend. My OB didn't seem concerned since I didn't have cramps or bleeding.
I've had the same thing! I think it's pretty normal, and like PP said I used to get back pain before AF pretty bad, so maybe it's just related to the hormones--I've also heard it can be related to the position of your uterus.
I wouldn't worry too much, I know everyone and every pg is different, but I had a m/c last fall and didn't have any back pain, but did have sore boobs, so you just never know!
