So here's my project for the day... PIP

Painted 2 walls of the furnace room downstairs so that I could set up my shelves. I need to unpack my stockpiled stuff from all of that couponing. I started with cleaning supplies, as this house needs a good scrubbing. LOL

  • Looks great! I love how the cleaning supplies are so nicely organized.

Holy stockpile!  I'd like to see another PIP once you have those shelves filled with everything else, please.

    It looks good!

  • looks great - can you post some after pictures for inspiration?  I started couponing after you posted about it about a year ago.  I'm still making rookie mistakes, but every time i get a great deal it feels like vcitory :)
  • Absolutely. The new shelves motivated me to unpack all of the boxes in the basement. Yahoo!

One thing about my stockpiling thing... we are now out in the boonies, and Ohio winters will make a quick run to the store much more of a chore. The stockpile is going to be a very handy thing around here.

  • I am genuinely curious, One Star. What is so offensive about white paint and metal shelving? Seriously? You have no life.

  • Can I ask you: Were your kids around? I can't even do a simple task like unloading the dishwasher without it taking 20 minutes due to interruptions from them. That project, which looks awesome, BTW, would take me literally a week.
