GAH! DH frustrates me!! (NBR: Vent)

So, my DH got into a car accident last Friday.  He's fine, but since then we have been borrowing a car from someone he works with (he's Army, and the female who is letting us borrow the car is married to a guy who is deployed, so she has an extra car).  We are waiting for all the paperwork to go through so that we can get a new car, but until then, we are at the mercy of others.  Well, this female got a no driving order, for some reason, because she's wearing a heart moniter for a week.  I'm not sure I entirely understand it.  Whatever.  Anyway, he tells me today (when I was out with said car) that he needed to go pick her up from work, drive her and her car home, and then he would be home.  So, he does it, since we are borrowing her other car.  That's fine.  On the way home, she wanted McD's, so he had to stop there, which prolonged his trip out, and since he had started making dinner while I was gone, I didnt know what he was doing with it.  We had to wait til he got home around 7 to feed our kids.

So, during dinner (less than 1/2 hour from when he dropped her off) she sends him a message saying that she needs to be somewhere an hour from here, by 11:30 tomorrow morning.  To which he says, I need to be home by 1 but that's fine.  Doesnt say anything to me about it til he sends the message.  We have a birthday thing to go to at 2, with a "neighborhood cookout" afterwards.  We are all supposed to bring our own meat.  I havent gotten the meat for it, or a card for the two boys whose birthday it's for.  I was going to do that tomorrow.  Cant, now, since my dumba$$ hubs decided that he was going to take the car ALL MORNING tomorrow.  And then instead of trying to listen to my side, he storms off, leaving me to deal with both of the kids...again...by myself.  I can do it, I'm a big girl, but I'm sick of being the only parent when he's here.  I'm also sick of him putting other people (mostly females) ahead of his family.  The last time he did this, and didnt listen to me, it ended badly, just like I said it would.  To top it off, I think my son has Pink Eye, but they wont call in meds, since he has a fever.  They have to SEE him tomorrow morning!  Will it never end????

Sounds like she's using him as a chauffeur.  If you guys weren't using her car...how would she get around?  Maybe, if you can...say thanks but no thanks on the wheels.  Car Rental wouldn't bother you for rides.

I would also suggest renting a car. Your insurance usually covers up to a certain amount for a car rental per day. Just a thought, but GL with the situation. I wouldn't be very happy either!
