i'm watching ellen's mother day show! all first time mothers in the audience getting lots of cool stuff.

OMG!! I have been noticing sooo many baby things lately. Every single ad,show or sale and I get depressed. I work in a restaurant and Mother's Day is a mandatory work day with 400 guests coming in. This year I lied < feel so guilty I am crying now.I took some time off for surgury, which is true but they think the surgery is for something else. I couldn't bear wishing happy mother's day to 100 strangers. I dodged that bullet but I would be balling my eyes out if I watched  Mothers day specials. Hard to avoid self torture sometimes but adding way more stress to what your already feeling sucks. Look away, Mother's day is almost gone!!!

I hear ya.  Sometimes, we just can't help it.  It will be great when we can take part in these occasions from the other side.  With T&P and all the support on this board I hope that happens very soon for you.

Funny - i was just asking myself the same question.... though my torture "weapon" of choice is Sixteen and pregnant.... i already know when i watch it i am going to get upset watching all these young girls pregnant - but for some reason i'm like deer in the headlights and still do it :-/  Glad to know i am not alone with the tourturing.  Luckily i was at work today so i missed the Ellen show. 

Maybe we should write to Ellen and ask her to have an IF show... she can have all us Bump IF posters in the audience and give us each some free IF treatment with our docs..... i can dream right?
