Do you know if it has casein in it?  DD has a dairy allergy and I've only found one kind of cheese at Whole Foods that doesn't have casein in it (and its really gross) - even the soy and rice cheese I've seen doesn't have lactose, but is processed with milk proteins

I know that the frozen natural brand of processed foods, Amy's, uses Daiya in their gluten free (GF) vegan mac & cheeze. I was excited to try & liked it also better than FYH yet I got hives from eating due to my enviromental allergies to anything in the same genae of plants as sunflowers/safflowers. Please let me know if u all have tried other brands as I'm interested in still trying to find a brand I like better. TIA!

That is so good to know!  God I don't envy people that have to deal with food allergies.  The few weeks we even contemplated it was enough to send me over the edge.
