What does test out the trigger shot mean? I have the pleasure of doing injections and trigger shots presently but I dont know what testing out the trigger shot mean.
I think it means testing to make sure it's out of your system fully, so you'd know for sure if you get an actual BFP after the trigger's gone. I don't have personal experience with that though so maybe someone who has can fill us in.

Oh, crap. Didnt even know that was something I should be doing.
You do NOT have to "test out" the trigger shot, some women jsut do it to make sure that if they get a BFP it's not from the trigger shot.
The trigger is made from HCG (pregnancy hormone) so if you took a test the day after you did a trigger, it would be positive. Same goes for days 2,3,4,5,6,7, possibly up to 10 days after the trigger, depending on the dosage. If you were to test for pregnancy at 10dpo, there is question as to whether it's from the trigger or if it's truly pregnancy.
Almost 100%, it's out of your system by 10dpo, but it's different in every woman, which is why some "test it out." HTH!!
