Ok, so I need to vent.  (Sorry)

 DH has a "work gathering" tomorrow night at a coworker's house (who I LOVE) and to be honest...I'm not looking forward to going.  Another coworker's wife is pg and is CONSTANTLY complaining about how she's getting fat.  She even told DH's coworker that if she "has" to get fat, he "has" to get fat too.  UH!  Why is it that people who COMPLAIN about being pg are the ones that still are?  I don't want to go at all...but love the coworker that's hosting.  It just sucks.  Then, when I explain all that to DH...he just doesn't say anything.  GRRRR!  Sometimes I think he's thinking, "Ok, it's over...move on."  Um HELLO...it's only been 5 weeks!!!!!!!

 Then, to top it all off, AF was "supposed" to show up today and lo and behold...she went MIA! 

 Fan-freaking-tabulous!!!!

Thanks for listening...guess "keeping it in" for so long wasn't a good idea...

Maybe it's just the mood I'm in, but I would love to go to the party and when she starts complaining, verbally lay into her about how lucky she is, and how many women out there would give their right arms to have her "fat issues". I think I could fly out to MO for that

I think it would be GREAT to lay into her!!!    Here's the strangest part...she had a m/c before this one!  You'd THINK she'd understand the sensitivity of people and be thankful for what she has.  UH!

OMG. Wow. Just wow.

Ok, well maybe a throat punch would be too extreme....perhaps a nice back hand slap would be more appropiate to knock some sense into her.

I think we're all feeling feisty right now b/c we all seem to want to come to the party w/ you and have a little chat w/ this woman! I actually had a semi-thin feeling moment today where I figured if I have to not be pg, at least I can try to get my body looking hot. If I came to the party and she said complained about getting fat, I'd probably say "wow, yeah, you're right- you really are looking like a big tubbo, especially in your thighs."

Swear that I really am a nice person but I think I'm too tired to be polite about this woman's self-centered insensitivity.  Best of luck at the party.

YOU ALL ARE AMAZING!  Thank you for making me smile...and even laugh!  I already told DH that if it "gets ugly," he needs to watch out because I will be a MONSTROSITY of a woman!    I'll post how it goes!

Update...so the coworkers wife ended up not saying anything negative...holy crap!  Thought I was ok...then two more pregnant people walked in.  Let's just say I drank a LOT of margaritas...
