This is my 7th week and I had some bleeding

I am really scared as I had a m-c in december. I had a few drops of what looked like old blood (brown) in my daily protector. I have had some cramps and no other pregnancy symptoms so far. Should I have a blood test to se my hormone levels?

I'm sure you've heard and read that both the cramping and brown spotting are perfectly normal, but I'm positive that doesn't make it any easier to deal with. 

If you're going to be completely stressed, I'd give the OB a call and see what they say.  They may be completely responsive to having you come in for a folowup beta just to check things out.  You should be having an u/s soon, right?  Or maybe already had one?

I've had A LOT of brown spotting (every day for over a week). I ended up at the dr. and did have an ultrasound. Everything looks ok but I am still worried about it. Might not hurt to call the doctor to see what they say.

Thanks a lot for your quick responses.. my appoitment for U/S is on friday the 14th, almost a week from now.  I guess I should relax.. but if I see more spotting I will certainly call the doctor..

Same thing happened today..my OB made me go in for blood. Lots of prayers for us both!

Have you been blood typed? If you are Rh negative and your husband is postive, you will need to be given a shot at two specific times during pregnancy, and earlier if you experience any bleeding. So definitely call your doctor. I only know because I think I am Rh negative (we did our own typing in highschool bio) and so we have to get DH typed if the blood they took comes back as Rh- .

 sorry for the late response,  we are both O RH Positive. I am praying that everything goes well on this friday's appoitment.. I hope the spotting is nothing serious.
