I am debating whether or not I need to suck it up and just buy some clothes for the larger me...have I maxed out the maternity wear being acceptable? (Finn will be 3 wks tomorrow)
I gained alot of weight with DD so I was wearing all maternity clothes for a couple months and am just now starting to wear regular, larger pants. If you don't want to spend the money, I don't think there is anything wrong with wearing maternity clothes PP.
I was back in pre-pg jeans by 11 days post partum. However, I still wore maternity tops for another week or so because I didn't want to buy new tops until the weather changed. I needed new shirts for my boobs
I am still wearing my maternity pants or stretchy pants. I could probably fit into my regular clothes but my c-section incision is infected and hurts really bad if there is any pressure on it.
Im still wearing my bottoms...I had lo 2 months ago. I bought a pair of cheap jeans the other day...I hate them. I might me breaking down soon and buying a size larger.
Oh my, I hope it's fine to wear maternity clothes at 3 weeks. My baby is over a month old and I still wear maternity jeans. All of my maternity tops are put away though.

I was able to fit in my pre-pregnancy clothes 2 weeks pp but my maternity pants are just so comfy I haven't parted with them yet even though some of them are getting quite loose. lol
Don't hate me, but I was back in non-maternity clothes coming home from the hospital. That said, I have a wide range of clothes sizes (from size 0 to size 12) and I'm currently fitting into the upper size range. The exception is my top half -- I have giant breast feeding boobs and I'm still wearing some of my maternity tops.
I say wear what works... Who's going to say anything to you? You're a new mom, and you just went through a lot. Do what you need to do! :-)

i'm still wearing maternity jeans. i can fit into my pre-preg jeans, but they don't look the same...yet! i've decided i'm going to wear my comfy maternity jeans until my old ones look good again. i'm about 5 pounds away, so hopefully soon!
To preface My comment I wil first say that I am , in fact, only speaking out of pure jealousy
Eff you guys who are in pre pregnancy pants!
My gut flap is not allowing me anywhere near what I was before. I refuse to buy new pants because I feel like that is allowing me to get too comfortable with my current size. I have about 20 pounds before the old pants have a new day in the sun. I have been wearing dresses because that's all that fits. I live in Florida, so that gives me until probably November before I NEED pants again.
I didn't wear them at all pp, but did wear sweatpants, yoga pants, etc at the beginning. ?I didn't buy bigger clothes, but did wear things with drawstrings or elastic for the first week or two. ?
I'm still in my maternity jeans. I can get my regular jeans on, but it looks like I painted them on and the muffin top is out of control. I never wore maternity tops.

this is me too. hate you all! (i say that with pure envy)
I was in some prepregnancy clothes the day I got home from the hospital. Some things, like nice fitted pants, still don't fit me because my hips are wider, but my mat ones fall off.
I'm still wearing my maternity shorts and pants because they are more comfortable. I can zip up my regular pants and shorts, but they are sooo tight, so if I wear them, I leave them partially unzipped and wear a bella band with them. I figure I'll be out of the maternity stuff completely in a week or two...
Re: how long did you wear maternity clothes pp?
2 weeks...by then I could get back into my pp jeans but I did have to buy some new shirts to contain my giant boobs

::butting in from 3-6::
If I didn't buy new jeans I'd still be wearing maternity pants.
