prolactin level

Hi ladies. My RE informed me today that my prolactin levels were elevated for the 2nd b/w in a row and is putting me o n medication to lower the level. Has anyone had a similar issue? I am on a round of clomid now and doing an IUI hopefully next week.

Mine was high and after an MRI, it was found that I had a small benign pituitary tumor that ended up going away on its own.

I have high prolactin levels caused by a pituitary tumor.  I took bromocriptine- 1 tablet once a day and my levels lowered in time for my IVF cycle.  My RE says that high prolactin levels can cause problems with implantation.  I was lucky, I got my BFP.

I suffer from High Prolactin. I had 2 b/t that showed levels at 53 & 47. My RE was still concerned even though it went down, but had me do an MRI to confirm I did not have a pituitary tumor before putting me on meds. I've been on Cabergaline for a few months now (once a week) and have already had 3 IUI's since, with 2 BFNs and waiting this weekend to find out the 3rd one outcome.

I've had b/t since to show that it is now at a nomal level (8). Other than that, we don't have any other IF Factors.

We did our first round with Clomid. I ended up with a thin lining after my IUI, so they put me on estrogen. We moved onto to Femara for the 2nd round and I'm now on a cycle of injectables (Follistim).

They just put me on Cabergaline 2x a week. Do you find any s/e? is it better to take with food, at night or in the morning?

This is our first round and we are on Clomid, trigger shot, and IUI. I am taking the clomid at night because i find the s/e arent occuring.
