I let my student use my school laptop to print an assignment and she took it upon herself (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION) to open up Itunes because she wanted to "listen to music."

While in there, she decided to browse through my podcasts.....ALL prenatal yoga.  She laughed and made a HUGE deal about it.

 

I was so pissed but I didn't want to really yell at her or it would make it a BIGGER deal, kwim? 

I could just see it: "OMG, Mrs.LindsayLou FLIPPED out on me today b/c I found her prenatal yoga on her laptop! Gawd!" 

So I tried to just brush it off and change the subject. UGH.

I know! I didn't even know what "prenatal" meant!

Did she really know what it meant?  I'd be super surprised if she somehow put two and two together.  Sorry though, that would suck.

We had to take Natural Family Planning classes to get married in the Catholic church. One of the teaching couples were parents to some of my students... so they figured it out. It wasn't ideal, but the world didn't end either

Yeah...it's not that big a deal. Frankly, my students have accused me of being pregnant for two straight years, so what's the diff?

Wow, I can't believe she did that! I'd like to think I wasn't such a brat when I was young. I'm really sorry she did that, I'd be seriously annoyed. But I think you did the right thing by not making an issue out of it...it'd probably make things a lot worst.

yeah, I would be really upset with her.  That's taking an awful lot of liberties.  I'm really sorry.
