If your LO is on Prevacid

How much do they take?  My LO is taking 1/2 a tablet (7.5mg) once a day and this week her reflux has gotten much worse.  It seemed to work for the first week, but she has been screaming in pain and even spitting up the medicine.  Did the medicine work for your LO?

    Thats what my LO started on and it didnt work so now she's taking that amount twice a day and guess what? Still not working, GL.

    Drew takes 7.5mg 2x a day and it does NOTHING.

    I'm in the minority I guess, but my son is on 7.5mg twice a day and it has done wonders for us. His spit-up has drastically reduced and he doesn't scream in pain after meals anymore. If the Prevacid doesn't seem to be working for our LO, call your pedi and see if you can switch to something else like Zantac. I've heard that works well for babies who didn't improve on Prilosec. GL!

    ds is on 3ml of prevacid and he has not been screaming after feedings thankfully
