I miss my baby!

My husband took LO to our parents group without me tonight (I'm staying home sick) and I realized this is the first time I've ever been away from LO for more than a quick trip to the store. 

I keep turning around thinking he's going to be in his napper and he's not there! I miss him!

How am I ever going to deal with going back to work if I can't even be away from him for 3 hours...eesh...I'm in trouble.

    The first week back is very hard!  I am 12 weeks pp today and had to go back right at 6 weeks.  I miss her terribly still, but our lifestyle requires to full time incomes. It's an adjustment and you learn to adapt.  Good luck to you and enjoy the rest of your time off, it goes quick!

    Yes, I love my job, and I've been pretty open about telling people that I want to go back to work (by choice)...but I've never actually been away from LO before and I had no idea what it would be like...I'm starting to get an inkling of how difficult it's going to be at first.

    You aren't a terrible mom!  I would have thought for sure I'd feel the same way...maybe I will :)

    Maybe! It was awesome, I actually had a lunch break! I knew my boy was fine though, he was playing with Grandma today and she sent me some videos of him throughout the day. Ahh, technology.
