So DH do okay, but we are nowhere near where we want to be financially. So while I am always finding things that I want to get DS, I have to be choosey and not go crazy. But I think that whenever DH and I have another, we will hopefully be where we want to be, which in turn leads me to worry that the next child will have more/ better things simply because we'll be able to afford it. And that makes me feel bad. I feel that Landon will be getting the short stick because I thought it would be easier to find a job after graduating.

Does this make any sense? Or am I just thinking way too much?

What he needs most are parents that love him! Seems like you do tons of that so other than that please do not worry! He doesn't care what he's wearing, what toys he has or what he plays in. All he knows is that his parents are there and they love him and take care of him!

This exactly! Kids just want to be loved and taken care of the toys and clothes won't matter in comparison to your love.

yeah I second the other posters.  He won't remember any of this stuff, it's all just stuff to him.  It's your love that matters most.

Thanks girls!! I needed the pep talk!! LOL... In my heart I know that all he needs is food, shelter, and most importantly love, but my head, it thinks too much.

Don't worry about material things till he's a teenager THEN he will want all the "cool" stuff lol
