Afraid I missed O... :(

Okay, I normally o around day 30ish, so we backed off the eod bding to gear up for next week.  Last week I tried an opk for fun since I've never used them and had no line.  Yesterday I had some twingyness, so I did another to see if I might o early. I had a nice pink line, but it wasn't as dark as the control line, so I thought I'd maybe get a positive in the next few days.  Well, I just did today's opk and my test line was barely there.  Do you think I missed it? We only bd'd Sunday, and this am my temp was up a little...I want to cry...My cycle is so long that it seems like it will be forever until we get to try again...

Only way to know for sure is to keep up with those temps.. I'll keep my fingers crossed you haven't o'd yet.

Also I have a hard time with those opk's. Did you hold your pee for at least a couple of hours?

I'm sorry. I had the same problem with OPK's and thats why I switched to the CBEFM. Also, have you tried vitex? I just started this month and it moved my O up 5 days! It may help shorten your long cycle.

Thanks ladies...I did hold it for the four hours, maybe I just didn't read it right yesterday since I'm really new at opks. This is our first month ttc after the loss, so I thought I would try temping and the opks more religiously without going overboard, but maybe next cycle I need a stronger plan of attack! I'll look into the vitex and see if I can find a cbefm online... Thanks for the support! And I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that maybe it hasn't happened yet...we'll see.

I think OPKs are worthless. Are you SURE you missed ovulation?

I'm really not sure...the last couple cycles I've had really strong o pain and this was just twingyness. And I'm not great at temping as this is my first month doing it (semi)consistently. And the opks are new to me too. I'm hoping I'm just an idiot and I haven't really missed it. Sorry for whining, I'm a confused mess...
