I know it may be soon. I'm just wondering how soon is too sonn?

 

I am not bleeding anymore, this is day two and I feel like I can go back to my regular activities. Both my husband and I are ready to slowly venture back into our sex life, but i'm a little cautious. The doctor said when ever I stop bleeding and am comfortable.

How long did you wait?

I waited 10 days - then had an OB appt. I was still really lightly bleeding, so he said another 2 weeks. I said "ooh my husband is going to hate you!" I would say overall it was like 3 weeks. It definitely hurt the first few times, so take it nice a slow and don't worry if it doesn't happen...

I was told two weeks, all four times, before ANYTHING can be inserted in the vagina. Fingers, tampons, or penis.

I also worry about infection. This is such a long drawn out process. I find myself frustrated because a baby can be lost so quickly, but it takes weeks and sometimes months for your body to heal. I just want all of this to be over.

I had to wait 6 weeks.

I had a first trimester m/c prior to DS1 and it was 2 weeks, this go round it is 5 weeks (after my appointment). That said I think it will be longer and rather emotional.

4 weeks after I delivered. I bled the next day, on both occassions so we're abstaining for another 2 weeks or so.

After my D&C the dr said to wait until I stopped bleeding - we did - it was about 10 days after (the only reason we didn't wait longer was because it was our anniversary and I wanted things to be "normal").  I bleed after though and spotted for like 2 days.  It was also very emotional.  So we waited again - until today actually - at this point it has been almost 4 weeks since the D&C - so far no spotting this time.

We waited 5 weeks.  It was alittle painfull but then the next day AF crashed the party! we were are playing the waiting game again!
