TTC After a Loss

Back from the root canal

Overall it went pretty well.  The valium and ativan didn't seem to work very well, I was still really edgy, but the gas helped a lot.  I'm sore and really swollen.  Looks like I'll get lots of green monster smoothies for the next while, maybe they'll help make up for all the double stuffed oreos I've eaten lately.  They said nothing hard or chewey for the next WEEK, originally they said 24 hours.  Yuck.

Heard some very sad news while were there.  A little boy from the area died this weekend.  We know the family a little bit and I won't get into all the details, but this is the 3rd child that's been lost in that extended family.  I can't imagine how much they are hurting.  Dh and I were talking on the way home, for us we just worry about getting children born, but there's still so much to worry about after that.  It's overwhelming when I stop and think about it.

  • Yep, it seems like there is always something to worry about. I am so sorry for their loss.

  • Glad your root canal went well. How sad about that family.
