Unmedicated IUI

RE is suggesting doing a few rounds of unmedicated IUI's.  Tests done on me show that everything works properly and no blockages.  DH has MFI so we will be working donor sperm.  Anyone had success with unmedicated IUI within no known problems?  I am 33 yrs old.

    If the problem is only MFI with no female IF, then I think unmedicated IUI with donor sperm sounds like a great plan.

    We also have MFI and used donor sperm. When going for my first pregnancy we did 3 unmedicated IUI's all BFN's. When the average donor sample has only 10-14mil sperm you really want more than 1 target/egg to better your odds. I went on Clomid and got the trio on our 3rd IUI. This pregnancy we didn't bother trying unmed. we went right to Clomid, but this time I didn't produce more than 1 egg so we had to move up to injectables. Good luck!

    We had success with our 2nd unmedicated IUI. Our only issue was DHs sperm. Good luck!
