I just saw your page yesterday.  Sorry, it was a late night, so I slept in today!  I got woke up with a phone call from my OB this morning saying my betas looked great.  They were like 1300 and something, so they more than doubled in 48 hours.

I saw your betas came back good too.  Actually they looked identical to mine at 19dpo....so I'm keeping my fingers crossed your next ones look good!

I've been spotting, but its gone away for now.  Unless it comes back, no more betas for me.

glad your spotting has stopped.  ugh, i hate spotting, why does that have to happen. 

will you get an early u/s??  i don't think i'll get my u/s till 8wks.  i was hoping maybe since my ob keeps talking about my beta's getting to 1500 they'd bring me in early for an u/s but i doubt it.  wishful thinking.

I agree.  Spotting sucks but I know many on here have had spotting and all has been ok.  I hope it stays away.  I took it really easy this morning and so far, so good!

Yeah, my first u/s will be around 8 weeks as well, so we should just be a few days apart in u/s.  They said that if the bleeding got worse, they'd do more bloodwork and an earlier u/s, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no u/s until the 23rd!

I'm so glad yours are looking good too.  Got my fingers crossed that this Friday's numbers will be awesome!

i really do have pregnancy brain b/c i realized after i wrote my post that your appt. & u/s is around the usual 8wk mark. lol

i can't wait to make my 1st appt. b/c i think they do the u/s right then and there.  this will be my first time at the new ob so i'm very curious what they do. 

well i will keep my fingers crossed for no more spotting for both of us! 

i was saying yesterday to myself that i cant believe i'll have had 4 blood draws before i've even been seen by my ob.  jeesh!

Hehehehe.  Understand.

This is a new OB for me too.  I've been going to him for infertility for months and I love him.  But in all honesty, we never talked about "when I get pregnant" it was always a "if this doesn't work, we'll do this next time".  So I spent like 15 minutes on the phone with the nurse this morning.  She said that they do the two betas with any infertility treatments to confirm pregnancy.  As soon as its confirmed they do an appointment just to talk through things.  Then the first u/s at 8 weeks cause by then you should hear a heartbeat and they don't want to worry anyone by doing it too early.

I like their plan   Sounds like your new OB is pretty similiar

yes, our ob's seem very similar.  i met w/ them in sept. last year and discussed what the steps would be if i got pg. and she said the first appt. and u/s is at 8wks.  so i was so happy to hear that!!
