Except for the fact that DH put the alcohol swab over the injection site after removing the needle! Made it sting a little-lol. He promised not to do that again! The best part is that I went to Acupuncture right afterwards so I feel pretty good! So 1 down-lots to go!
Re: First Lupron Injection=not bad
That's great! You just get used to it. I remember my first injection (not Lupron) took me at least 5 minutes to work up the courage to stick in the needle! Now I'm an old pro!
I hope the rest of your injections are as easy as #1!!
I'm glad to hear it went well. Like the other poster, I had to work up the courage to give myself the first one. And while I still get a little anxious when I have to do it, it does get better.
A tip that was given to me was after you wipe with the alcohol swab, make sure it dries first before sticking yourself. The alcohol can make the shot sting on the front end as well.
Continued luck to you.
