flipped or twisted ovary?

Has this ever happend to anyone? I've been having pain for the past 2 days, im pretty sure that its kidney stones, but my re wants me to go in today for an u/s because he thinks my ovary is twisted! Im freaking out now...never thought I'd say this but im praying I have a kidney stone!!

It hasn't happened to me, but I know that Million$$baby on SAIF had a twisted ovary and they didn't diagnosis it until she was in extreme pain (went to the ER) and had to go in for emergency surgery.  I think she lost the ovary too. 

It's good your doctor is looking into it and taking your pain seriously - I hope they figure out what is going on, and that it is not twisted.  (Although, I do know from personal experience that kidney stones are no fun either!!)  Good luck!

thanks, im really really really hoping its not my ovary. Im extra worried because im 4dp2dt. Either way..this cant be good. =(

are you having the sharp pain all day long or just at certain times?

Since Sunday night (1dp5dt) I have been having sharp shooting pains and hurts to turn over but only at night (2am) and actually I have gotten this after every transfer.  Dr. said it is normal, but since it is happening again this time around it just doesn't seem normal

I am glad that your doctor is having you come in.

Its pretty much constantly there, but it worsens at times. I've noticed since yesterday the pain seems lower now & not high like before. I just got back from my re's and he said my ovaries look good and that I may just be a little over stimulated. I have a history of kidney stones so Im 99% positive this is whats causing the pain so im just flushing with a ton of water.  Also I have been a little crampy like Im getting AF and Im feeling little twinges here and there but Im having a hard time figuring out what is causing what...lol. Im a hot mess with all this crap  I've been having a hard time sleeping as well, between my kidney pain, 2ww phantom symptoms & my back killing me from the pio shots im really turning into a whiner..lol.   Maybe you should ask him if he can give you an ultrasound to make sure everythings okay? I hope you start feeling better soon too!
