ok I googled it. I dont think I feel it. It's the initial latch that hurts me.
I didn't feel it for the first few weeks, either. My mom would keep asking, "Has your milk let down, yet?" and I had no idea what she was talking about. My doula said that some women never really feel it. Others (like her) still feel it years after they stop breastfeeding -- her son is 13!!!

I'm glad you asked this because until I saw Pam on "The Office" get tingly, I thought I was just weak. Yes, my let down hurts, as in a momentary sharp tingling, but that's only really when I'm completely engorged in the mornings, or if I've skipped a feeding during the day and my boobs are bigger and missing their baby-sponsored relief.
YES!! Mine hurt SOO BAD! When I told the LCs this they looked at me funny, but now I have weaned LO so no more let down pain (though I do terribly miss bfing!)
Re: bf'ing moms: does your "let down" hurt?

Me either actually. I never could tell a difference.
Mine feels like this sometimes! Other times I barely feel it. Weird!

I'm feeling this now when I pump...I hope it's a good thing considering my boobies have been a fail so far.
