Sunburned scalp

Ouch!  We sat outside for awhile yesterday, it was sooo nice!  Didn't ever cross my mind that I should be in the shade or wearing a hat.  They really need to invent a sunscreen for scalps.  Kind of glad my hairdresser had to cancel on me today, although I'm sorry her DH ended up in the ER.

    They actually do have a sunscreen for your scalp. I can't remember what it's called but you spray it on like hairspray. I have fair skin and blonde hair so sunscreen is a must for my scalp even if I'm only outside for a short period of time.

    ouch!  I have pretty thin hair and have had this happen before; totally sucks.  Put lots of aloe on at night so you wont peel or it will look like you have dandruff!

    I hate scalp sunburns.  It hurts to brush your hair and you end up with the peeling that looks like horrible dandruff.  Sorry.  I'm glad you and your DH got to enjoy the nice weather though.
