LOs not happy when awake

Both boys fuss if they are awake.  There is a very small window during the day where the might not fuss while awake.  Anyone else?

Just this past week, she is able to lay there calmly, without fussing. Before that, forget it - if she was awake and wasn't being fed, she wasn't happy.

  • She did this for about two weeks (around 3-4 weeks). She just recently stopped.
  • DS is doing this now... he was such a great baby the first 2 weeks home.  I'm hoping it will stop soon but it sounds like this is about the time it happens.  I have read that they go through a growth sput around this time and can get fussy due to that??

  • It get's better...once he hit the 4 week mark it got better, but then he went through the 6 week growth spurt and it went downhill for a week, but I'd say after that was done he got to be more content...now after he eats he will sit in his bouncy chair, or on our laps playing, or on his playmat and chill for a good hour before he gets pisses and wants to sleep.

  • My daughter is like this also. I was wondering if it was normal.
