Anyone traveled a longer distance with LO yet?
May is the only month that my husband's job allows us to take a vacation. We aren't looking to do a lot, just a few days. I really want to do something, but still have NO idea how it will work with LO. She will be about 2 1/2 months when we go. She is only in the 10th percentile, so still around 9 lb...pretty little!
DH wants to get a cabin or hotel and find some trails to hike and sight see. Not sure at all how I can manage that with LO. I don't think she will want to be in the Baby Bjorn for very long.
I am pretty much exclusively pumping now and supp. with formula. She still spits up A LOT (trying to picture that in the Baby Bjorn!)
Has anyone traveled with one this little and pumped? Any ideas on how I can manage this would be great!
Re: Traveling with LO?
We went to Dallas when my DS was 6 weeks old. My DS was only getting a few bottles at the time of pumped milk (mostly EBF). It worked out fine. You could just bring your pump with you and make sure you're at the cabin at the times you need to pump.
Our friends have travelled with their now 8 month old from the get go, and they go on crazy hiking vacations, like to Red Rocks. They have one of those awesome carriers and their DS does great!
