How many hours do you swaddle?

How many hours a day do you swaddle LO? I use the Miracle Blanket and it says not to swaddle more than 10 hours in a 24 hr period. My LO went to sleep last night swaddled at 9pm. At 5am, I unswaddled, gave her a bottle, and changed her diaper. I swaddled her again and put her back to bed. My mother (who is keeping her right now) said she slept until 10:30am. But that is like 13 1/2 hrs of being swaddled!  I'm thinking maybe I unswaddle her when I leave for work when my mother gets there at 7am??

wow, she's nine months and you swaddle her that long?  My 1 month boy ends up unswaddling himself.  I'm lucky if he's swaddled couple hours/day.

I have never heard of having a time limit for swaddling. hmmmmm.

We don't swaddle during the day at all (except for when I attempt to put him down for a nap). He is swaddled all night too. from 8:00pm till 8:00am.

We dont' time our swaddling either. DS needs to be swaddled whenever he is sleeping, including naps during the day. I'd just ask the pedi if there's some sort of time limit for any reason. I told the pedi we swaddle every time he sleeps and she said it was fine, no mention of times.

I've never heard of a time limit for swaddling. We swaddle overnight, which usually ends up being about 10 hours.

I only swaddle him for his first sleep of the night (4.5-6 hours).  He needs to be in a deep sleep to let me swaddle him.

He is only swaddled at night which is usually between 8-9 hours.
