So cute! Puppies are just so much fun. Our sheltie Nugget grunts when I pick him up or carry him out of the car. We no longer carry him out to potty now that he's potty trained, but he started doing that when we would carry him out. So, we ended up giving him a middle name that means "complainer" in Spanish because when he does it, he sounds like he's complaining about being carried.

Puppy dreams are also so much fun to watch, if you are lucky enough to catch it! Occasionally, my furbaby will move his legs and whimper while he is dreaming, and I just love it! I should take a video sometime.

any tips on potty training our little lab just isnt getting it.
Crate train- make the crate fun- treats in the crate, feed in the crate- leave it open while you are home w/ fun stuff in it so he goes in there on his own. never use it for punishment.
Take out often set up for success so your pup never has a chance to have an accident. Take out after eating, drinking, playing, when he wakes up, when he's just sniffing around the house-
use the same door each time- and take out on a leash so he's not distracted. praise/treats- for potty outside. If he doesn't go potty right away- take him back in and put him in the crate. then try again a little later.
If you find he's wandering off and having accidents- then tether him to you w/ a leash so he doesn't have a chance to do so.
She's 12 weeks. I was spoiled with our lab pit she was good to go in a week and was only 4 weeks when we rescued her. This little one has been a trouble maker. She goes in the cage everytime and doesnt seem to care.
Is the crate too big for her? Generally dogs don't like to go in their crate (I know ours doesn't - she's had a few accidents but only when she wasn't feeling well). We have a crate that had a panel that could be moved. She now has the entire crate, but when she was little, we gave her just enough room to turn around. If you don't have a movable pannel - put pop bottles filled with water in the space in the back of the crate to keep her in a smaller space.
Ditto with the other suggestions of treats, etc.

Use nature's miracle to clean up accidents.
