TTC After a Loss

how long after BCP do you get AF?

I'm patiently waiting for CD1 so I can start Follistim.  I took my last BCP on Thursday night (april 29) so it's been 3 days...  twiddling my thumbs.  I haven't taken BCP since freshman year of college (when I actually worried about getting pg...HA HA, if I only knew).  I remember it would usually happen pretty quickly.  I'm on Reclipsen (generic Desogen)?

Can someone clue me in?

Re: how long after BCP do you get AF?

  • I thought it was right after you stopped taking it.

  • This might be a stupid answer but I think it depends on what kind of BCP you're on? I was on the kind where you took three weeks of pills then one week off then you got AF. So for me, I got my first AF about a week after my last pill. I was on one called Demulen.
