My little girl seems to have mucus in her throat.  She had a spit up episode a couple days ago and it came out of her nose.  Since then, she seems to have some mucus in her throat.  She sounds like a little piggy at times.  It is not in her nose, I have suctioned her nose a zillion times.  She is not having problems breathing and she does not have any drainage running out of her nose.  

She is gagging a lot more (does this anyway due to reflux) and I feel so bad for her.  I have spoken to all my mom friends and they have no advice.  She goes tomorrow to the doc so I plan on telling them about it.

Any advice on what could be the problem or how to clear the mucus would be appreciated.

This, and have you tried saline drops before suctioning her nose?
