Not really - we got our from BRU online. While she can't get her legs through anymore, she can still get an arms stuck down the side between the mattress and the bumper. I consider them binky guards!
We ordered ours from amazon and I just pulled them down slightly past the top of the mattress, said in the instructions you could do this, and the work pretty well from what I can tell.
