dun dun dun...the crib (soother)

I want to start napping Adam in his crib during the day so he can get familiar with it (he sleeps in the FP Rocknplay at night currently). I want some opinions on what the best crib soother is? He really likes to look and watch things and adores music. So I want to get something he will enjoy and will help calm him..any suggestions?

Surprisingly enough out of all the gadgets we (my mom) got DS he just loves his mobile.  It is airplanes and he coos and kicks like crazy when we crank the thing.  We also stuck the PnP mobile on the changing table to make diaper changing enjoyable.

ETA: I was so excited to get DS the seahorse and he could care less...  sigh..

yeah we have the seahorse already. He enjoys it...but I think he likes to watch things move

I just bought the fFisher Price precious planet 2 in 1 projection mobile on a whim.  DD loves it.  It's a mobile and also has a projector. Once it's time to take down the mobile, the projector projects onto the ceiling.  I haven't used it too much though, so I'm not sure how good the quality is, but time will tell!

I wanted to have as little as possible at the crib.  If he has things to play with, he won't sleep, he'll play.

We have Little Buttons Sweet Scenes Soother but it's more for girls (the pink bear in a tu-tu) but it works really well so I would recommend something like that.

I second the FP Precious Planet Projection mobile. It works wonders for Jack, and I love the remote control.
