Infertility

Lucy is finally coming home from the vet... again!

This week has just been a miserable mess of things.  I am really grateful for all the hugs and support you girls have shown me.  From my Mom's announcement, to DH getting sick, to my cat Lucy... it's been a long week... but I made it to the weekend again and can recuperate a little!

Lucy came home on Tuesday and was fine that evening, I even posted that she was better on here.  Overnight she got sick again, throwing up all night, and I got her into the vet first thing Wednesday morning.  They have had her there since then, and I can't wait to go get her and bring her home. They had to do more bloodwork, x-rays, and a barium swallow series of tests.

She finally was able to pass the obstructed hairball, has been eating and keeping it down (let's just hope for her and my carpet's sake, this stays that way!), and she had a bm today!  Never would I believe I'd be so thrilled to hear that my cat pooped!  I have a little more appreciation from some of the insane FB statuses that some mom's post now... I'm just so happy she's feeling better.  I'm wrapping things up here at work and taking off early to go get her.  Her sister Lily has been a wreck at home without her, so I'm so glad to reunite them again.  Thanks again for all your love.  Big Smile

  • The poor thing! All that trouble for a hairball! She's a little troublemaker, isn't she? Wink
