RAVE: Maternity Leggings!

I have never worn leggings before because I don't really have the body for them, but I really needed something for work under some of the thinner Spring dresses that I have. So, I decided to try maternity leggings. Girls, I have no idea what the heck was holding me back! I was surprised that they look pretty cute, but more importantly they are more comfortable than anything in my closest right now. I may seriously wear these non-stop for the last 3 months of my pregnancy.
Target has them for less than $20 and they are really lightweight too. OK, enough of my rave but I had to share with my fellow bumpies.

That's the first thing I got!  I got them at Target, too.  I haven't worn them much yet, but I was planning on doing so with the little dresses I bought for some upcoming events.

Motherhood Maternity has them for $12... but their return policy stinks.  I got my "pregnancy" leggings at Ross for $5.  They're not maternity, but I got a big enough size that they're still super comfy.

FWIW, I was not a leggings person pre-pregnancy either.

I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooved my Liz Lange maternity leggings from Target! They were definitely part of my regular day to day "uniform" in my 3rd tri.

Interesting...I've never been a legging person and scoffed at pictures I've seen even though they were cute on the models. I just thought they wouldn't be cute at all on me. I might try them out!

You know, I have thicker legs and ankles even at my skinniest so I have totally shied away from these but now you have me reconsidering....

I am a chubby girl to start with and I think I look cute with legging -lol- of course I can't wear them with a tiny tops (because I've got lots of junk in my trunk) but I love them!

i spent the majority of my 1st pg with leggings and flowy shirts or dresses...i cant wait to put those suckers back on!

I notice that I wore them more during the winter with boots and long sweaters, but in the summer you can wear them with sandals, tunic shirts, and dresses.

Thanks, it is very comfortable. Old Navy Maternity! It is on sale right now for less than $20 (depending on color). It runs a little big so if you are in between sizes, go with the smaller size. I got a Medium and will have plenty of room to grown in it for the next 3 months.

Only wear the leggings with dresses or tunics.  If you people start wearing leggings with shirts (gag!) I'm going to have to recind my "leggings are cute" status and suggest that you are all inducing morning sickness in the masses.
